Strong emphasis on new business development. Grows revenue by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.  With a focus on middle market commercial clients , manages loan and portfolio credit quality, sources prospects and develops new customer relationships.  Provides financial advice to customers and sells appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients.  Identifies and successfully capitalizes on cross-sell opportunities and makes appropriate referrals.  Target market for an RM II is credit exposure in the $2 to $7 million range but no segmentation and can certainly go lower or higher lower or up to the bank's per deal legal limit of $20 million.  RM III target market is $5 million to $20 million in credit exposure.
  • Undergraduate degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of relationship/account management experience selling banking products in the appropriate market.
  • Credit training, credit quality and underwriting fundamentals experience; including financial analysis required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Generating new business through a consultative sales approach.
  • Demonstrated sales and negotiating experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
